Restricted Items
List of Restricted Items that CANNOT be transported by Courier Companies. Some of these items are restricted by cargo airline regulations or may require additional special handling and / or permits.
Keep this in mind when making your purchases because we will not be able to transport them and you will have to assume the costs of destruction or return to the supplier.
Items
- Firearms and their ammunition
- Porcelain, glass or fragile objects.
- Agrochemicals, fertilizers, pesticides.
- Automotive shock absorbers (gas powered).
- Neon signs.
- Batteries that contain chemicals or are classified as hazardous material (motorcycle or vehicle batteries)
- Automotive airbags and belts.
- Perishable cargo.
- Any flammable, corrosive or explosive material, fireworks and gunpowder, matches, lighters
- Any spray product
- Any product with alcohol as its first ingredient.
- Any rechargeable battery that contains lithium: due to airline restrictions, they can be transported, but we must have consent to request a permit.
- Electronic cigarettes.
- Drugs and any narcotic.
- Pressurized containers
- Gas (in any form, tear or pepper).
- Tattoo machines.
- Controlled Medicines (prescription) or medicines for animals
- Packages containing US postage stamps.
- Natural products and vitamins.
- Perfumes and lotions with alcohol content
- Cleaning products.
- Dietary Supplements containing Dimethy lamy lamine, supplements for animals.
Products with Special Handling
- Artículos con un largo mayor a 120 pulgadas.
- Bloqueador solar.
- Enjuague bucal
- Esmalte de uñas.
- Polvos de belleza.
- Productos de belleza.
- Soluciones de limpieza no corrosivos.
Productos con permisos especiales
1) Any item that is not listed in the Annex Resolved Resolution: Annex Resolved Resolution AUPSA-DINAN-055-2016, Article 6: Numeral 3 and 4.
Import as personal consumption related to food and supplements are allowed in the following quantities:
- 3 Kilograms of Supplements or Vitamins per person.
- 5 kilogramos de alimentos por persona grupo familiar.
2) Legal Support: Executive Decree 95 of May 14, 2019, Article 150, point 2.
Product Examples: *Medications.
Observation: In the case of cosmetics, up to 3 units per person and with a volume not greater than 500 ml per month are allowed.
